Hi, I'm Kirk Dando. Nearly 30 years ago, I was the young and ambitious COO & CFO of a company that we grew to over $1 billion in annual revenue—not just valuation, but real revenue.
I had access to top-tier advisors, consultants, and executive groups, yet something still felt off. In simpler terms, running a business seemed far more complicated than it needed to be. I was doing all the "right things" but couldn’t shake the feeling there was a better way.
I spent countless sleepless nights questioning myself: “Is it supposed to be this hard? Am I the only one struggling with these challenges?”
I knew I had the raw materials for success, but it felt like I was always wrestling with the unknown. After we sold the company, I was approached to sit on boards and advise other businesses. While that was rewarding, I felt a deeper pull to help leaders who were in the same situation I had been in. When I was scaling the business, I could find plenty of coaches and consultants offering advice—but no one who had actually built a $1 billion company and could walk alongside me through the real, gritty challenges of growth.
Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to doing exactly that: helping CEOs and leadership teams navigate the inevitable problems that come with success. The truth is, if you're growing, you’re also growing into new challenges. I’ve spent thousands of hours with CEOs and their teams, and while the details vary, the underlying patterns of problems caused by growth are strikingly similar across industries.
This isn't about academics. I’ve personally lived these challenges, and I’ve seen firsthand what works—and what doesn’t. Through my experiences, I’ve developed practical frameworks and mindsets that leaders can use to solve these issues and continue growing.
Every day, I’m grateful for the opportunity to be the guide I wished I’d had when I was leading my own company. I know it can be lonely at the top, and I aim to be the trusted advisor leaders can turn to when they need someone who understands what they’re going through.
Thank you,
